Rider-Specific Fitness training

Riding is a product of effective aids. Effective aids are a product of tuned muscular movements. Tuned muscular movements are a product of muscular fitness.


Muscular fitness (strength and endurance) must be supported by out-of-saddle training. I create training plans tailored to your riding-specific needs and challenges. Veteran exerciser or newbie, training plans meet you where you are and can take you where you want to be. 

Why me as your coach?

I understand the science of riding.

As a physiologist, I can connect your body "hardware and software" to the sport you love. As a rider, I understand how complex the sport is, as well as the unique time commitments it requires. I love teaching people so they can truly understand the things that make them better athletes. Rider Fitness is my perfect balance of science and sport.

How does it work?

We connect and discuss your needs and interests.

I develop a ~2 month long tailored plan with an exercise guide and instructional videos. All plans include strength, endurance, mobility, and balance components - just like riding! 


I ask for your open feedback, and will check in with you each week to discuss questions or concerns. We adjust your plan as necessary to reach your goals. I encourage open communication throughout the process.
